Major Tae Kwon Do academy now has two locations just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, in the city of Lilburn and Loganville. Founded in 1996, the academy is headed by chief master instructor, Grand Master Seong Ji. Please click here to view Master Ji's introductory video. The academy offers a comprehensive list of programs that have been created to accommodate your personal development in the art of Tae Kwon Do.
Over the years, Major Tae Kwon Do has participated in many events including the 2004 Korea Demonstration. This last year our school helped host the 2007 Goodwill Tour for the North Korean Demonstration Team. This first ever visit of North Korean Demo Team to the United Stated was well received by the Tae Kwon Do community. In May Major Tae Kwon Do along with The American Tae Kwon Do United (ATU) hosted the Georgia State ATU Tae Kwon Do Championships. This Inaugural event was a great success bringing together over 20 Tae Kwon Do and Related Martial Arts schools with a combined total of 200 competitors. We appreciated the support from all the schools, volunteers, and communities and look forward to next years event!
Every year, students are attracted to Master Ji's academy for its warm and friendly atmosphere. Not only is our school a place where the "age old art of Tae Kwon Do" is practiced and taught, it is also a great place to make new friends.
