What Does a Day in Our VIP Afterschool Program Look Like?

Pick-Up

We have multiple marked buses and vans that safely transport your child(ren) to our facility at the time of release.

Schools for VIP Service:

Gwin Oaks ES, Brookwood ES, Knight ES, Arcado ES, Camp Creek ES, R.D. Head ES, Arcado ES, Mountain Park ES.

Taekwondo Class

Each student participates in 3 taekwondo classes per week. There is a class specifically for our afterschool students so that they will be able to complete their taekwondo class prior to your arrival.

Education

Not only do we assist our students with homework, but we provide every student with their own workbook from the educational company, Brain Quest. They complete at least one page a day in order to provide academic support.

Reading Time

We encourage our students to read due to its long-term benefits: improving memory, increasing vocabulary, reducing stress, and enhancing creativity. We have several shelves of books that are evaluated prior to reading that are organized by grade level.

Fun Activities

Our afterschool room has arts and crafts materials, various board games, and other interactive toys for our students to encourage them to be socially engaged.

We also utilize our taekwondo mat for team games and our projector for movies during special school days.

Important Note: We follow the Gwinnett County School Calendar & we provide service during Digital Learning Days.
